In January 1987, Doug co-founded Factory Recreation, a business he continues to be deeply involved in alongside his cousin and business partner, Donny, and their dedicated team. He later pursued his education at Georgian College's Canadian Automotive Institute. Building upon this foundation, Donald further honed his skills by obtaining a degree in International Business with a minor in Automotive Marketing and Management from Northwood University's Texas campus.
